The Lord Needs It (Part 2): The Place of Waiting.

We will continue this series with a very important statement Jesus told His disciples; "Go to the village ahead of you" after we have seen that God has a purpose for every man.

After Jesus had said this, He went on and ahead, going up to Jerusalem. As He approach Bethphage and Bethany at the hill called the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His Disciples, saying to them, “Go to the village ahead of you, and as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. If anyone asks you, “Why are you untying it?’ tell him, the Lord needs it.” Those who were sent ahead went and found it just as he had told them. As they were untying the colt, its owners asked them, “Why are you untying the colt?” They replied, “The Lord needs it.” Luke 19:28-34 NIV

All men that God uses where men who were found in one place or the other. They were either pursuing their dreams or career, or they were in the processes of making for them to enter into their purpose for life. These places are usually where God will find them when He needs them. He knew that that is where they should be. He Knew that in that place, He will find no other than they. Its the  place where when the master is in need of him, He sent for him. It is a place of training and making. It is the place sitting and listening, a place of developing capacity, a place of discipleship (Learning under the master's feet). When a tool is made either of iron, wood and clay, it is shaped for its purpose, sharpened, trimmed and then tried, when it pass the test and considered useful, it is then been kept for its season. The question now is where are we, where is your checking place? The place is just for you alone, your secret place. Are you in your dwelling place or have you change your position, have you found yourself a place suitable and comfortable for you? When the master will be in need of you, will He be looking up and down wondering where you have gone? Remember that the master may be patient for a while but He will never lack a vessel to meet His need just when He needs it if you are no where to be found. When He sent the disciples, the instruction was specific; "to the village ahead of you". I pray that you will remain there where the Master kept you so that when He comes for you you will be found there waiting.
