The Lord Needs It Part Four (4):- Which No One Has Ever Ridden

After Jesus had said this, He went on and ahead, going up to Jerusalem. As He approach Bethphage and Bethany at the hill called the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His Disciples, saying to them, “Go to the village ahead of you, and as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. If anyone asks you, “Why are you untying it?’ tell him, the Lord needs it.” Those who were sent ahead went and found it just as he had told them. As they were untying the colt, its owners asked them, “Why are you untying the colt?” They replied, “The Lord needs it.” Luke 19:28-34 NIV

“…Which no one has ever ridden” The kind of vessel that God wants to use to carry out His intentions here on earth is the kind that was never used for any other  purpose or work by another. It is a colt that was kept for the need of the Master not for another regardless of his status and place here on earth. The objective of this phrase is that; God demands purified life because He also is pure “For the Lord did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.” 1Thess 4:7 NIV. He needs men and women, young and old without stain whatsoever, vessels without cracks. Vessels that will not endure to the end of the journey, vessels that will break on the way to their destiny, such a kind cannot be of use to the master.

Purity is an essential need God looks for in a man that He want to use for His divine purpose here on earth. If a man must be qualified to carry the master’s need in his life time here on earth, such a man must be pure, he must be strong and not weak. A man is unfit because it has been used for another purpose. The man has be used already by another master and it is still under the control of his master, . Friends, may the Master not find us already in service for another and impure, unqualified to carry to carry His out his needs. Amen.
