What Christ has done for you

Hebrews 9:16

"For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator."

Hebrews 9:17 

"For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth."

Let's talk about will, a father's will to his inheritance. I believe it will give us a better understanding of what the writer of Hebrews is saying. If a rich wealthy man knows that he is full of age and about to give up the ghost he sits down and divide his inheritance to his children which can only be confirmed after his death, but as long as the father is alive his Children cannot claim their inheritance because Will's are legally binding and enforceable after the death of it's subject and until the subject dies the will remains null and void.

The Bible said," For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator"

Testament means a Covenant, Promise a will.

The Lord Jesus has written a testament for all mankind, it is called the new testament,but in other to perfect it he died on the cross of Calvary, because the testator has to die for the testament to have strength. And through his death all mankind can claim this testament, glorious promise.

But not only has he died to enforce it He also resurrect to defend it as a witness so that those greedy,wicked and selfish relatives and in-laws of mankind ( the devil ) will not deprive mankind of his promise to them. He resurrect to cancel every written cord, the petitions the Devil is passing out. 

Glory to the Lord of host.

But the condition is that your birth is regenerated by faith in Christ Jesus when you confess his lordship over your life and you are living according to His will. 

Then you will be a partaker of this wonderful testament in Christ Jesus.

May this Testament be sealed in your heart in Jesus name. Amen!
